	Bob Norwood Walker, age 80, of rural Pinckneyville, IL, died Thursday, January 6, 2005, at 4:10 a.m. in the Pinckneyville Community Hospital Skilled Care Unit.
	Bob was born on August 15, 1924, in Washington, Ind., a son of Ellis C. and Henrietta (Miller) Walker.  He was united in marriage to Connie E. MacDonald on June 20, 1947, in Sullivan, Ind.  He served in the United States Marines during World War II.  Bob was a buyer for Index Notion Company in Sullivan, Ind. for over 25 years.  He began working in retail in 1974.  Bob owned and operated Walker's 5 & 10 in Pinckneyville.  He and his wife managed the White Rabbit for 10 years for the city of Pinckneyville and he enjoyed the people he came in contact with.  Bob enjoyed garage sales and was a longtime member of the Lion's Club, was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the First United Methodist Church in Pinckneyville, and several other civic organizations.
	Survivors include his wife, Connie, one son, Robert E. Walker of Oblong, Ill., one daughter, Judy Holder and husband Joe, one brother, Dan Walker, one granddaughter, Jessica E. Holder, all of Pinckneyville, and two step-grandchildren, Robert and Angie Holder and their children Jesse and
Josey of Willisville, and Jim and Pam Holder and their children Ashley and Jessica of Pinckneyville.
	He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Burress and Clifford.
	Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville with the Reverend Jim Barnett officiating.  Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Park in DuQuoin.  Graveside military rites will be performed by the Presswood-Daffron American Legion Post #2504.
	Friends may call at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville on Friday evening, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday morning, from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Masonic Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday Evening.
	Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
